WMA Karate Tae Kwon Do classes are taught by Howard Latting, who holds a 6th degree black belt with the World Martial Arts Association (WMAA). Howard has been teaching for more than 30 years, and has taught hundreds of students throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan, including the Lower Manhattan Youth Program, Trevor Day School, the Dalton School, and the Collegiate School.

WMA Karate offers personalized attention and unlimited classes for our members. We pride ourselves on helping each student reach their goals. The program consists of training that includes both physical conditioning and character development. The classes are structured and demanding, with an emphasis on concentration and precision. Families report that their children develop confidence along with their karate skills. The atmosphere helps to motivate students of all ages to perform better in other endeavors, including schoolwork and vocational pursuits. WMA Karate is affiliated with the World Martial Arts Association, and this membership provides access to promotion tests, national tournaments, and training excursions to upstate New York.
